82 Fritz 15 Help This example shows the board after the first moves of the French defence, 1.e4 e6 2. d4 d5. It is now White’s turn, and the green arrows show four plausible moves he can make. Note: The arrows are not based on calculations made by the program, but on data read from the openings book. For this reason the Opening Hints can only be displayed when an openings book has been loaded. 3.1.10 Opening Classification The program is now able to classify openings more precisely. The feature Cla ssify Ope ning now makes it possible for the user to state to what opening system a particular board position belongs. Note: This function is only useful in the opening phase of a game. In the middle and endgame it is no longer possible to make a classification. © ChessBase 2015
