What’s Happening Around the District
Legacy High School teacher Arlevia Davis helps biology
students remember hard terms by performing original songs
made from popular tunes.
Principal Cristina Hernandez of Roberta Tipps Elementary
School and third-grader Austin Wade swapped spots for a
day. He showed up dressed for the part.
Superintendent Dr. V met the student ambassadors at
Nancy Neal Elementary School. The group is focused on
spreading positivity.
The Donna Shepard Intermediate School running club was
recognized for having the most participants at Methodist
Mansfield Medical Center’s Mad Dash for Cash event.
Girls at D.P. Morris Elementary School were all dolled up for
their Daddy-Daughter Dance.

Year award, which was given by The Mansfield Area Chamber
of Commerce.
