Seventeen MISD Students Named All-State Musicians

ansfield ISD is pleased to announce the five choir students and 12 band students who were recently named All-
State musicians, the highest honor a Texas music student can receive.
The distinction is given by the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) to approximately 1,700 of the more than
60,000 students across the state who audition to be selected.
The All-State musicians performed on Saturday, Feb. 11 in
one of 15 ensembles at the annual TMEA Conference in San
Antonio.
Congratulations to the following MISD Fine Arts students:
Erin Reigh and Jacqueline Lum were the All-
State musicians for Legacy High School.
Lisandro Atencio, Scott Sanders, Tyson Alderete
and Kaleb Patterson were All-State band members
for Lake Ridge High School.
Angel Reeve and Mackenzie Rieter were the All-
State choir members from Summit High School.
Isabella Garcia, Nicholas Rood, Justin Gomez,
Andy Dodge and Isaiah Blackmon were the All-
State band members.
Anyse Dawson, Caden Puempel and Shelby
Priddy were members of the All-State choir from
Mansfield High School.

School as its All-
