Methodist Mansfield Receives MISD Community Partnership Award

ach month, Mansfield ISD recognizes the work of a
community partner that significantly contributes back to the
district. The selected organizations are recognized at an MISD
school board meeting and receive a special plaque.
For the month of February, MISD recognized Methodist
Mansfield Medical Center.
Methodist Mansfield is committed to making a positive
impact in MISD by helping educators and students stay
healthy. The organization sponsors district facilities and
events, supports the MISD Center for the Performing
Arts, provides free sports physicals and echocardiograms
to hundreds of students, and provides wellness expertise
through courses and other initiatives.

Methodist Mansfield lends more than its name on the MISD staff clinic and Vernon Newsom Stadium. The
hospital has fully invested itself into the future of the MISD community.
