2 | MANE RAIL & INFRASTRUCTURE | FEBRUARY 2018

Our contractors worked across the UK during the holidays with supply to a number of sites including the Great Western Electrification Programme (GWEP). We had a large presence on Crossrail West, which sought to complete work on the stations and platforms. Furthermore we supported works on central Crossrail with the instillation of the Platform Screen Doors (PSD). Lastly we supplied several plant companies with fitters over the holiday period to ensure all the machines used on the numerous blockades were well maintained to maximise efficiency.

We had a wide range of roles from senior level engineers, management positions and safety critical positions, such as COSS and skilled trades (both civils and M&E). In addition we had attendant labourers and traffic marshals.

Overall we had around 200 staff across the different sites during the holiday period. These blockades were successful due to great planning and the ability to work closely with our client, enabling us to concisely understand their needs. Mane were on site over the holidays delivering essentials to site such as PPE and equipment. Vitally we communicated all the way through the holiday period with both the contractors and the client resulting in a 100% attendance rate during this critical time for booked staff.

Thank you for all your hard work!
