Philips Hue Bulbs

Seen as one of the classic smart gadgets, these lights are common amongst smart home users with their ability to be used for a variety of situations. The lights can have their colour changed, can be dimmed and brightened, produce a white light or a yellow hue as well as be turned on only in certain rooms and be personalised even further with custom colour settings for each user.

It isn’t just one type of bulb and lighting they do. Away from ceiling lights, Philips also have lighting strips which can be built on and extended in their Hue range as well as lamps and light ornaments that can be used for up lighting or table centre-pieces, or even providing some light and colour in dark sections of rooms.

Robot Vacuums

These have been around for a long time, but with new smart technology, these handy little vacuum cleaners have had a resurgence in recent times. No longer just the small black discs that go around the floor scaring pets and babies, they can nowadays have rooms pre-programmed and learn routes around the house to clean most efficiently.

Ensuring they produce the most effective clean and have a longer lasting battery life, these devices can now return themselves to their charging docks when low on battery, meaning there is no looking around for where it finished to put on charge. As well as being controlled via app or voice control, they can be set to timers too, meaning if the family are coming over at 8, you can tell it to clean the living room at 7 for an hour beforehand.
