Going back 20 years, the mobile phone landscape was very different with not as many large manufacturers in the market. People would pick their phones normally based off appearance. Once technology evolved and smart phones came in - the landscape was changed forever. Customers had to clue up on technical specifications in order to buy a phone that wouldn't date too quickly, had all the latest features and looked great.
NOKIA were a phone giant around the turn of the century, dictating the marketplace. Didn't keep up with industry trends and now is seriously behind the competition.
