FAMOUS ROBOTS

ATLAS

Boston Dynamic’s build advanced robots with remarkable behaviour: mobility, agility, dexterity and speed. There most recent robot is called Atlas. Atlas' control system coordinates motions of the arms, torso and legs to achieve whole-body mobile manipulation, greatly expanding its reach and workspace. The new version of Atlas is designed to operate both indoors and outdoors using sensors in its body to balance.

Have a look at the Atlas robot performing parkour in the video below.

SPOTMINI

SpotMini is another robot built by Boston Dynamics. It is a small four-legged robot that comfortably fits in an office or home. It is an all-electric robot and can last for around 90 minutes fully charged. SpotMini has the ability to pick up and handle objects, it can even load the dishwasher for you. To top it off, SpotMini is the quietest robot that they have built so far. The sensor suite includes stereo cameras, depth cameras, an IMU, and position/force sensors in the limbs. These sensors help with navigation and mobile manipulation.
