Welcome to the latest edition of the Mane Energy magazine!
It’s been 6 months since our last instalment and we’ve been very busy here at Mane during that time. The magazine gives me a chance to reflect on the months that have passed and look at what the industry is doing.
It’s certainly an exciting time within the energy industry with some pivotal milestones being reached such as USA generating more power that coal for the first time in recorded history in April, to Germany where renewable energy is generating nearly half the country’s output. Closer to home in Scotland, wind turbines have generated almost doubled the domestic requirements for the whole of the country in only the first months of the year. This is a massive achievement that’s showing the rapid progress and innovation happening in the market at the moment.
These type of headlines are being superseded by bigger and better news almost on a daily basis it seems, so were very excited here at Mane to see what the next 6 months and beyond bring in terms of new projects, technological innovation and market progression for what is surely the most exciting industry to work in at the moment.
