MEET CALUM
I have just completed my first year at Mane and have learnt so much about the energy industry during this time.
I have had the chance to learn about both offshore and onshore wind as well as oil and gas. It has been fascinating watching the renewable energy market grow, learning what part each company plays and keeping an eye on the news to see what projects they win.
I find it very rewarding to be part of industry that truly changes the world.
I really enjoy building strong and trusted long term relationships with clients, as well as being on close terms with good talents pools of personnel. I pride myself on being responsive and understanding to both my clients and candidate’s needs.
As a lot of the work I recruit is offshore, I have to be thorough in my due diligence when assessing profiles and vetting certificates.
It is very exciting to be involved in one of the more growing teams in Mane. We have high hopes and very clear focus on what we wish to achieve.
As many of our clients are based in Europe, I have been lucky to travel to many different countries for client meetings.
I place a high importance on the consultative aspect of recruiting within the energy sector. This means being honest, managing expectations and really sharing any knowledge that you have that could benefit others.
