When did you join and how would you describe your time in the academy?
I joined Mane on the 26th February 2018. If I were to describe my time in the academy in three words I would choose; fun, beneficial and educational. I would recommend joining the Mane academy to anyone who is looking to join recruitment or even experience a new career challenge.
How did you decide the team you wanted to be in?
I knew where I wanted to go as soon as I started the academy. When I was in the academy, I worked on several automotive roles for my colleague Calum, placing two contractors in my third week in the academy which I was extremely proud of. I knew through working these roles and placing the two candidates that this industry was the right fit for me.
How would you describe the team you work in?
I love the team I am in! We all work hard but we work as a team which allows us to also have fun whilst working. We do have banter within the team, however saying this when it comes down to doing our work we are all extremely focused to get the job at hand completed. We all make sure we support each other even when someone may be having a bad day. We all catch up in regular team meetings to make sure we are hitting targets and to also discuss how we can improve as a team.
What roles do you specialise in?
I specialise in aftersales roles (Vehicle preppers, painter, polishers, and many more.) I also work closely with Composite professionals (composite laminators, composite designers etc.) I recruit for these roles within the UK and also all over Europe.
What have you achieved in the last year?
In the last year I have managed to bring on my own clients, I have done this by building close relationships with them, ensuring all needs are continuously met by understanding their needs and understanding their business and that all candidates supplied to these clients were the right fit for the job. Within the last month I have placed my first three permanent placements with a client I have been working closely with in Milton Keynes.
What do you hope to achieve within your team in the next year?
I hope to open many more accounts where I can support and help clients. In addition to this I hope to grow my network by placing more candidates into the right roles and get a good reputation within the automotive industry.
