I’ve been at Mane for just over a year and a half having joined through the Mane Academy in August 2017. After completing the academy, I joined the Aerospace, Defence & Space division. Working within the Aerospace team here at Mane gives me an opportunity to focus on a multitude of roles.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time so far at Mane working in such a great team has helped me grow as a recruiter. If I was to describe my team in three words I would say fun, hardworking and supportive.
The Aerospace industry is continually growing and evolving making it such an exciting one to be involved in. The roles I currently specialise in are in MRO and aviation. These roles include; but are not limited to, Licensed Engineers, Unlicensed Engineers, Sheet Metal Workers, Maintenance Planners, Seat Fitters and Galley Builders.
I work with clients all over Europe, with my main clients working in Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Ireland and the UK. The main projects that my clients work on include maintenance on airplanes but also building aircraft components from start to finish.
As time has gone on I have managed to develop successful working relationships with these companies which has allowed me to supply more and more staff to different areas and sites all across Europe. Not only has this helped to take the Mane brand to more areas it proves that we are more than capable of supplying top quality staff to companies in such a demanding industry.
Over the last year I have enjoyed many personal successes at Mane. My first highlight would be winning Consultant of the Month and receiving an Apple Watch, but I would have to say that my main highlight would be winning Consultant of the Year for 2018. Having never worked in recruitment before Mane, it was a huge personal achievement to receive this award.
In the coming months I am looking forward to visiting numerous clients in Europe to discuss the maintenance winter season plans for 2019-20 so I can ensure I am ready to equip my clients with the best talent. I also recently visited the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg between the 2nd and 4th of April. A great exhibition where I could see the latest ideas and innovations in aircraft interiors.
