MU| N o t e s Jonathan Harding ’01 has been promoted to partner at Dahms & Yarian Inc., an accounting firm with offices in Warsaw and Rochester, Ind. A native of Kosciusko County, Harding joined the firm after graduating from MU. John Minnich ’01 is now the chief financial officer for Concordia Lutheran High School in Fort Wayne, Ind. In May, he received an Outstanding Community Service Award from the Indiana CPA Society. Elizabeth Printz ’03 was nominated for an Emmy award in the category of Outstanding Hairstyling for a Multi-Camera Series or Special for her work on the NBC television show “The Wiz Live!” Joshua Emerson ’04 and his wife, Tara, welcomed a baby girl, Hannah Emerson, on May 14, 2016. They live in Terre Haute, Ind. Scott Bucher ’07 was recently promoted to vice president of Lake City Bank in Warsaw, Ind. A mortgage loan officer, he also is a member of the Kosciusko Board of Realtors. Brent Casey Jones ’07 works as director of land management at Acres Land Trust and is caretaker of Wildwoods nature preserve in Silver Lake, Ind. Samuel McFadden ’08 and Mackenzie Coulter-Kern were married on Aug. 13, 2016, in North Manchester. Christa Hunter ’09 Alig teaches kindergarten at Ossian (Ind.) Elementary School. In January she was named Wells County Teacher of the Year. 2010s Deana Stranz ’10 works for the Carroll County (Ind.) REMC in the Operations and Engineering Department. Andy Williams ’10 and Jennifer Beakas ’11 Williams of Wolcottville, Ind., both competed in the Boston Marathon in April. Andy finished 21st with a time of 2 hours 27 minutes and 7 seconds. It was the third time he has competed in that race. Jennifer, who was four months pregnant, finished 19,734th of 26,639 with a time of 4 hours, 15 minutes and 19 seconds. Samantha “Sam” Alley ’11 is an admissions counselor at Manchester University after teaching language arts and drama in South Korea for five years. Joshua Daniel Bowling ’11 and Nadia Nubani Bowling ’11 both graduated in May from Indiana University School of Medicine with Doctor of Medicine degrees. Dr. Nadia Bowling and Dr. Josh Bowling began their residency training at Hershey Medical Center at Penn State University in Hershey, Pa., this summer. Nadia is training as a neurologist and Josh as an internal medicine physician.
