Gothic Choker Designs
Gothic Choker Designs was created by Kerri in South Africa in 2011 as a means of supplying locally made alternative jewellery as there was little available in the country at the time. Initially she started making velvet and lace chokers for herself and after receiving many compliments and requests to make chokers for other people, she decided to take the next step and venture into selling them. She started doing small alternative markets around Cape Town as well as setting up selling platforms on local online marketplaces. Gothic Choker Designs was invited to trade at Cape Town’s largest summer outdoor market, near Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens which was an excellent opportunity to launch her range of chokers and alternative jewellery to the public. They were met with great interest and many custom orders for special chokers were requested.
