The Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration ( NCIA ) is a dispute resolution service provider established by the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration Act no 26 of 2013 .
The primary mandate of NCIA is to administer international commercial arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution processes .
NCIA has published the NCIA Arbitration and Mediation Rules which facilitate institute administered arbitration and mediation under its auspices ( now available on our website www . ncia . or . ke ).
NCIA also accepts requests to facilitate administration of ad-hoc dispute resolution processes as well as requests to act as an appointing authority .
To facilitate administration of disputes , NCIA is inviting interest from qualified arbitrators and mediators to apply for panel status listing by submitting the appropriate Forms 1A and Form 1B accessible on our website ( www . ncia . or . ke ) with the requisite payment . Copies of the application together with the supporting documentation may be uploaded online or be delivered to the Registrar ; the same should be marked ‘ Confidential request for Panel Status ’ and delivered to ;

The name and profile of an arbitrator or mediator whose application is approved will be listed on the NCIA Panel to be published in the website and other material . This information will be available to parties and the NCIA for cases referred to the NCIA for arbitration or mediation .
Applicants are advised to consider the NCIA Arbitration Rules , 2015 , NCIA Mediation Rules , 2015 ; the NCIA Code of Conduct for Arbitrators , NCIA Code of Conduct for Mediators ; and the qualification requirements in the NCIA Arbitrator Panel Status Standard and NCIA Mediator Panel Status Standard before filling the application forms .
