life is only important if me can help plenty people .” No wonder , more than 30 years after his death , he still rules the airwaves .
I learned pretty early in my life that if you want to be successful for one year , plant maize ; if you want to be successful for 10 years , plant trees , but if you want to be successful for a lifetime , invest in people .
I would love to state that those who grow maize can be guaranteed of success for at least one year , those who grow trees can bet to be in business for the next 10 years , but it is only those who invest in people and grow them to the next level who end up going beyond any limit in this world .
Dr . Martin Luther King Jr . once made this comment : “ Whatever affects one directly affects all

‘‘ I went through one hardship after another , with no solid help coming my way . However , the grace of God held me over and over , and I kept on racing with no finishing line in sight . I needed a miracle every single day in order to pull through . I lived life like a captive fish in an aquarium .’’ indirectly . I can never be what I ought to be until you are what you ought to be . This is the interrelated structure of reality .”

I will call this the law of the interrelated structure of reality . In my first book , Be Inspired Before You Expire , I widely discussed this law . I explained in depth how our destinies are intertwined ; part of my greatness exist in you , and part of your life purpose is found in me .
Therefore , the more we help each other maximize our potential , the more fulfilled we become as individuals . We have too much at stake together not to help each other .
Great people know that if you push someone down , you will have to bend to achieve that goal , because the lower they go , the lower you have to get in order to keep your momentum of pressing them down . However , the higher you push someone , the more you have to tip toe to achieve that goal .
Years ago , I defined my life goals and set myself on fire in achieving them , but as the years went by , I came to realize that as an individual , you can only go so far by yourself . If you want to go further , you have to empower other people . You have to build other people .
You must be able to duplicate yourself and not be selfish . This is now my life philosophy : building people , empowering people and duplicating myself as much as I can in my field of passion and expertise .
We started an academy and some of my students have already hit the marketplace . Whenever a client calls me and I am committed elsewhere , I can confidently recommend one of our former students , because I have invested time and passion in them . I have seen them grow and impress serious audiences . They have enabled me to go beyond limits .
Before we started the academy , I was an individual , limited in terms of physical presence , time and availability , but now I have no boundaries , having trained more than 200 people . I can now be in more than 100 places at any given time . I have now gone beyond limits , and that has only been possible through empowering other people . How are your people skills ? What are you doing for the people around your life ? I would like to remind you the words of Jackie Robinson : “ A life isn ’ t significant except for its impact upon others .”
A Book Can Change Your Life
In early April , last year , the world lost one of the greatest inspirational figures of our generation ; Dr . Robert Schuller , the founder of the worldfamous Chrystal Cathedral in California . Dr . Schuller popularized the philosophy of possibility thinking through his sermons and writings .
Two of his most famous books are Success Is Never Ending and Failure is Never Final and Tough Times Never Last but Tough People Do . I would like to pay tribute to Dr . Schuller . He was my hero . His life story was similar to mine . I subscribed to his philosophy of living . Though he lived thousands of miles away from me , I felt his heart beat in my soul every time I read his books or listened to him .
If you have read some of my books , you will understand what I am talking about ; in all my main titles , I have mentioned the wisdom and inspiration of Dr . Schuller .
I first came across his books in 1999 , and my life was never the same again . I vividly remember how his book Success Is Never Ending and Failure is Never Final , influenced my perspectives . I was going through a rough time in my life , being a foreigner and living in Nairobi ,
