BUSINESS INTEGRATION ARE WE IN AN ICT BUBBLE TERRITORY? By Peter Namasaka P rior to 2014, Transparency Market Research had predicted that aspects of business integration would form part of a large and growing market through 2030. By 2015, business integration had already achieved much growth in most businesses, and was already being supported by various trends responsible for shaping up different industries. However, in 2016, we have witnessed a continued growth towards investments that target cloud technologies, and complicated data analytical systems. Such technologies and systems still require some level of integration to function properly. But, there are different reasons why more and more businesses are seeking to develop and adopt better integration plans. infrastructures, together with the everincreasing social software are driving the growth in business integration trends, contributing to the burgeoning of various industry segments. The growing prominence of infrastructure system integration plans has compelled more businesses to become more receptive and consider adopting cloud technologies, or even look for systems that have the capacity to manage their networks more effectively. However, to avoid integrating your business blindly, it is important to have a clue on where the grass is likely to be greener throughout 2016, and into the future years.
