e deliver research-based

educational programs and

technology to enrich the lives of individuals, families, and neighborhoods. Some of our major efforts include promoting healthy diets through diabetes training, supporting entrepreneurship (B.I.D. Certification Program), decrease pests and diseases through our Landscape Pest & Disease Workshop, and strengthening our volunteer management and leadership opportunities by offering a 12-week Master Gardener Volunteer training course.

Our County Extension Agents, staff, and volunteers have the capability of teaching educational programs face-to-face, providing demonstrations, coordinating field days, creating web-based resources, home visits or answering questions one-on-one. Our goal is to address the needs of our clientele.

There are three aspects of Extension’s program development and delivery process that are essential to success: our NETWORK of educators and volunteers, our COLLABORATION with other agencies and organizations, and the INVOLVEMENT of local people.

We thank you for your continued support of our Extension office. We are excited to introduce a variety of new innovative programs for the 2018-2019 year. In addition, our new program partners will play a key role in the development, delivery, and expansion of our programs.

Please feel free to connect with us if you have any questions. We are here to support you.

Warm Wishes,

David D. Wright
