Title: College Prep Workshop

Description: 9th-12th graders thinking about college? This seminar will include Application prep, Admission help, Financial Aid process, mini SAT/ACT prep, as well as financial advisors on hand to speak with parents and youth!

This program is opened to all youth in Harris County including non 4-H members. WE HAVE WAIVED THE FEE FOR THIS EVENT! We encourage parents to attend as well!! Light refreshments provided.

Title: Diabetes: Healthy Holidays

Description: Pies, Cakes, Turkey, Dressing, Hams, Yams, Cider and Egg Nog are just a few of the holiday foods. For individuals living with diabetes, these foods can be difficult to resist. A goal of this event is to empower individuals and families with resources and skills needed to better manage their blood sugar during the holidays. Join us for a day of holiday food, holiday fun and holiday fitness. Seating is limited.

Title: Entrepreneurship 101

Description: Project Bootstrap is a job training program through Baylor Teen Health Clinic. The Clinic will be collaborating with CEP to host a curriculum on Entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship 101 is a curriculum that focuses on the basics fundamentals of entrepreneurship by providing research based information and resources to participants who are curious about starting a business. The curriculum also covers the pros/cons of being an entrepreneur and includes a short survey polling participants interested in entrepreneurship based on their personal skills, interests and passions.
