hello...

Welcome to the Extension.

exans turn to AgriLife Extension for solutions. Extension agents and specialists respond, not only with answers, but also with resources and services that result in a significant return on investment to the local economy.

The programs of the Harris County AgriLife Extension office are designed and implemented to address the issues of our community including youth development and life skills, sustainable communities, family and community health, environmentally sound horticulture practices, disease prevention, healthy lifestyles and financial literacy.

Despite the fact that we are still in temporary quarters due to the loss of our facility in hurricane Harvey, Extension continues to provide educational programs and assistance to residents across Harris County. This issue of Making a Difference highlights a few of our many programs that serve county residents, communities, agencies and organizations.

Please feel free to contact our office if you have questions about our programs and services or would like additional information.
