Details: The Learn, Grow, Eat, Go! (LGEG) Community Partner Training will prepare teachers and volunteers with 5 Hour Certification (CEUs) in LGEG curriculum to support implementation of STEM driven, gardening and nutrition programs in communities and schools.

COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Event: Businesses in Development (B.I.D) Certification Program

Details: The Certification Academy is a 12-weeks program designed to provide research-based instruction to Historically Underutilized Businesses in the State of Texas. In coordination with the State of Texas Comptroller's Office and input from purchasing agents across the state, Prairie View A&M University CEP developed a strict curriculum that teaches small business how to successfully identify and complete bid contracts with private and public agencies across the State. Our goal is to equip small businesses with the knowledge and network that will allow them to access over $2 Billion spent with Historically Underutilized Businesses.
