dollars . Both were installed over a weekend by volunteers but I think even I ( who has about 0 ability with construction ) could do them .
When guitar class or band begins all the materials are ready to go , off the floor , and have a home at the end class . The pegboard set up can change based on the musical needs and my percussionists feel like they have their own “ special ” space so they seem to respect and utilize the board to be more productive in class .
Neither of these ideas are mine alone . I modeled the guitar rack idea from how guitars are stored at many music shops and I got the pegboard idea from the Band Director ’ s Facebook group . Both of them , with a little community help , were quick and easy solutions to a problem that I ’ ve wanted to address for years !
