I pennelli di setola
sono composti unicamente
da pure setole di maiale,
che li rendono eccezionalmente
robusti e resistenti.
Consigliati universalmente
per la preparazione di abbozzi,
trovano largo impiego
nella pittura a olio,
a tempera e acrilica.
Data la rilevante dimensione delle setole,
sono utilizzati nelle tecniche
“a corpo” e a spessore
in cui sia necessario porre in evidenza
le tracce della pennellata.

of pure hog’s bristles
which make them
exceptionally strong and resistant.
Universally recommended for sketching,
they are widely used in oil,
gouache and acrylic painting.
The large size of the bristles
makes them ideal for painting thick coats
and full body, and when the mark
of the brushstroke
must be emphasised.
