Engagement Programme
As part of the Museum’s Magna Carta project,
25 community talks were delivered, including
nine by guest speakers including Will Self, the
Rt. Hon. David Davis MP and Tim Hancock,
the Director of the Chief Executive’s Office at
Amnesty International.
The engagement programme also included
the Magna Carta through Art project with
Runnymede Art Society, Magna Carta through
Song with Jenny Lockyer, tours of the British
Library Magna Carta exhibition for pupils from
Magna Carta School and members of Egham-
by-Runnymede Historical Society, a medieval
pennants project, a school pupils’ debate day
at Cumberland Lodge and a moot for local
Law students judged by the President of the
Supreme Court, Lord Neuberger.
