Food BAnk
Following the PD time shoe box collections in December, the Norwich Foodbank were grateful to receive our donations. Year 13 student Grace Funnell, who helped deliver the boxes, told us what it was like to hand them over:
"When we arrived we were given a tour of the whole building and were told that the foods were going to be sent out to local areas such as Wroxham. We were also told about how it all works. They had them sorted by expiry date, type of food, type of toiletry etc. We had 2 big standing trolleys full of products, and my car was literally stuffed to the brim with things on my lap too! They said how much our donation would help them out because around winter is when food and supplies were needed most, and they’d experienced shortages."
