As well as horror movies, there are loads of horror and thriller series to watch, most of the following are on Netflix and are not too hard to find. Some of my personal recommendations for a TV show binge are:

Scream - A masked serial killer follows a group of teenagers as we find out about the town's dark history surrounding Brandon James, but as this is a TV series it’s like a longer and more detailed horror movie which is good for those who have time to binge.

Stranger Things - With the disappearance of Will Byers and the discovery of a psychokinetic girl Eleven, a group of young teenagers try to find the Will for themselves discovering the horrors of the ‘upside down’.

Scream Queens - A sorority begins to be targeted by a serial killer dressed as their school’s red devil mascot. These events begin to reignite a 20-year-old murder mystery.

American Horror Story - There are many different series all surrounding a different theme where I would recommend the first season - murder house, the third series - coven and the fourth series - freak show, as these are my personal favourites and portrays all of the different ways the series shows off its horror abilities.

Bates Motel - This series acts as a contemporary prequel to the classic ‘Psycho’ showing how Norman Bates’ psycho nature unraveled through his teenage years, and how complicated his relationship with his mother Norma really is.

Other than staying at home and watching the endless shows and movies, you can also spend some money and go to some events being hosted this fall.

PrimEvil - PrimEvil is held at the Dinosaur Park and is Norfolk's biggest scare experience, whilst here you can go through the various attractions ranging from a carnival of terror to the mayhem manor of terror. It is a great way to get frightened but also have a good evening out.

The Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade - This is hosted by BeWILDerwood and they cover their entire woodland with lanterns and decoration making the place look magical to the public.

Norwich Science Festival - Although this may not be the scariest thing you can do this Halloween, it is still an amazing event open to the public allowing us to see some of the more interesting sides to science we might not know about, and as it’s hosted at the Forum it makes for an easy day out.

These events allow you to get out of the house whilst also not having to travel far to gain some entertainment.

Finally if you have nothing left to do you can partake in some Halloween traditions, such as pumpkin carving, making candy apples, apple bobbing, trick or treating or having a bonfire. These can make for some fun times between friends and family.

You could also watch some newer horror movies which tend to be more gory or psychological for the watcher. Some good recommendations are

Belko Experiment - In an inhumane social experiment, eighty office workers are locked in their office building, and over a speaker are told they have to participation in a gruesome game of "killer or be killed."

The Creep (1 and 2) - The first movie is about Aaron a videotographer who answers an ad, created by Josef. As they get closer Aaron realises his client is a lot more evil than first perceived. In the second movie. Sara, a college student, accepts an ad from Aaron to film his life as a serial killer for a day explaining his 39 kills. She soon realises the deadly mistake she’s made.

The Nun - A priest and a novice are sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of a nun, and end up confronting a malevolent force of a demonic nun.

Don’t Breathe - Three teenage thieves attempt to steal a great fortune of a helpless blind man, soon finding out he isn’t as helpless as first imagined.

Some of the newer horror movies have a longer and deeper plot with some brilliant new ideas on scaring their audience. These are another way to hype up your Halloween mood this fall.
