A French celebrity : Marion Cotillard
She was born in Paris on 30 september 1975. She plays
in La Môme, Inception, Taxi (1,2 and 3) and many
others films. She plays also in clips and TV shows.
She has been the wife of Guillaume Canet since 2007,
he is a French actor, film director and screenwriter.
The couple welcomed their son Marcel, on 19 May 2011.
We choose her because she's one of the highest
french actresses and we like her, she's amazing.

An animal linked with our region: The Flemish Lion
The animal we have chosen to represent our region is the lion.
On the flag and on the coat of arms of our region, there is a lion :
Or, a lion rampant sable, armed and langued gules . We call it "le
lion des Flandres", which means the Flemish Lion. It is a black lion
with a red tongue and red
claws. It is standing on its
two hind legs and the
background is yellow.The
origin of the lion is difficult
to determine. But most
people say it was created
by Count Philip of Alsace,
the count of Flanders from
1142 to 1191. Today the
Flemish flag is used in
French Flanders and in the
Flemish Community of
Belgium.
