Quite often during tarpon
fishing you may hook also
big snooks, jacks and
barracudas, as they have
similar feeding habits and
areas. It is not rare to encounter tarpon schools
surrounded by big jacks
or followed by big
snooks, eagerly waiting
to attend as hosts in the
dining room
(sometimes even big permit are wandering around
with tarpon schools).
Also it is not rare, fishing
near the mangroves, to
hook a snook or a ‘cuda
that are quicker than Mr
Megalops to chase down
our fly.
