How to get there – accomodations If you start, like us, from Tai di Cadore, it is easy to get to Santo Stefano di Cadore: after heading to Auronzo, you reach the village of Cima Gogna and, after a couple of kilometers, you turn right into a long gallery (direction Comelico – Sappada) and, at its exit, you are in Santo Stefano di Cadore. To get to Tai, which was our base, you drive on the motorway A4 up to the crossrods with the motorway A27, that must be followed up to the exit of Belluno. After that, you take the SS (state route) no.51 heading to Cortina, up to Tai. As above mentionned, we stayed at Villa Marinotti (www.villamarinotti.com) , the gorgeous residence of Angelo Piller and Nadia, where everybody feels really great, both for the ambience and the hospitality. The Cadore region and the Piave river offer countless opportunities. The fishing I have descrive is just one of the many well managed reserves one can explore. This is a land of countless resources, a small paradise certainly to be experienced! 152 Confluenze Fresh
