Kester, is proud to present a very special production of Naked Darrow to be held at the Charbonneau Club- house on Friday, June 9 at 7:30 pm. The play reveals the whole man, Clarence Darrow, fi ghting for justice, fi ghting too much al- cohol, fi ghting fi delity, fi ghting the death penalty, fi ghting racism and fi ghting memory confusion in his later years. This is the real Clarence Darrow - honoring the e l l i v n o s l i poor and disenfranchised. This production has been hon- ored and raved about by lawyers, law schools and theaters from Montana to New York. Now it’s being performed in Charbonneau. E G A T S W s t n e s e r p D d e k a N w o r r a D e c n e r a l C - Gear Up for 2017 Food Bank Walk Members of Carol Phillips' Silver and Fit class at Edge Family Fitness are getting ready for the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Benefi t Walk in Charbonneau on July 15. They are (l-r): Lynn Liffi ck, Phyllis Davis, Pat Holm, Sue Oberg, Beth Wolff, Susan Taylor, Robin Groshong, Vi Bonger, Lita Lee and Instructor Carol Phillips. On the bikes: Tom Taylor and Jimmy Lee. The group uses stretches, strength training and aerobics to get ready for the three- mile hike around Charbonneau. The goal of this year's walk is to have more teams at the event and to raise $10,000 which will provide food and care for families in Wilsonville for approximately three months. Anyone interested in joining can sign up at www. wilsonvillecommunitysharing. org or pick up an application in the Clubhouse Coat Room. Cost is $25 for individuals and $100 for a team of fi ve (each June 7 - Cooking Class - Away additional team member is $10). Kids 13 and under are free. Community Forum The Charbonneau Community Forum starts up its 2017 season on Wednesday, June 21 at 6 pm for the ever-popular program “Charbonneau Today and Tomorrow.” The event takes place in the Charbonneau Clubhouse Dining Room.
