In addition to her talent, education, and
design background, Terese grew up in I try to carry unique designs, not found in Madison. Madison, and knows her clientele very
well. She earned a bachelors degree
in fashion design at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, graduating Magna
Cum Laude, and then studied at the
prestigious Fashion Institute of Tech-
nology (FIT) in New York City. Some
of her designs were sent on an interna-tional tour to demonstrate the creativity of young American designers.Terese originally opened her boutique in Greenway Station eight years ago, and then six years ago, when Hilldale Shopping Center was renovated, she moved her store there, doubling her re-
tail space.
When Greenway rst opened, I had
some designs with my own labels that
sold right away, Terese says. But, I
found I could no longer keep the store
lled with my own label. We hope to
bring my own designs back into the
store someday.
Today, Terese dedicates her time to run-
ning the boutique, leaving no time to
create her own designs, a niche she truly
enjoyed. However, her shop is lled with
upscale, unique fashions, many made in
the U.S.A. I try to carry unique designs
not found in Madison. I want to bring a
better product to Madison while keep-
ing prices reasonable so people would
rather shop here and buy locally.
