Q & A WITH
AMIRAH
Vann
MADE BY KRIS CHRISTIAN
Amirah Vann is a
creative force to be
reckoned with. Playing
roles we love like
Tegan on ABC’s
How to Get Away with

MADE: What advice would you give
your younger self as a student at Fordham
chasing your dream?
AMIRAH: I would say to my younger
self...the truth is effortless. Passion and
patience and all else are available to you

MADE: As a successful Afro-latina in
Hollywood, how do you remain true to
yourself while avoiding one-dimensional
perceptions of others?
AMIRAH: Oh those “others”! I am

stories truthfully and wholly. If I believe
