your life. In an impromptu studio
session in California, HipHop mogul, Dr. Dre’s industry
experience and up and coming
female MC, Rapsody’s preparation
collided. An innocent studio
session transformed into an
intense freestyle battle between
Rapsody and Dr. Dre after the
two were introduced by a mutal
friend along with Hip-hop record
executive and producer, 9th
Wonder.
Responsible for the initial
endorsements of Eminem, Snoop
Dogg, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar
and the Game as well, Dr. Dre
lended his ear due to the weight
of 9th Wonder’s word. “People
may listen because of me, but
after a while, people have to show
and prove.” explained the notable
record producer, 9th Wonder.
The first female MC for Dr. Dre
to endorse, Rapsody humbly
recognized the opportunity wasn’t
merely by chance but through her
work ethic.
