They are the true representation of “Partners in Grind”. This
entertainment power couple shows the world that it is possible
to work with your mate in Hollywood. Together this couple is
responsible for some of our favorite shows under the umbrella
of Akil Productions such as The Game and Being Mary Jane,
just to name a few. The husband and wife duo were featured
on The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 50 Power Showrunner’s”.

RYAN COOGLER AND ZINZI EVANS
Could they be the next Mara and Salim Akil? We get so
excited when we see millennial couples carrying the torch of
greatness. Many may know Ryan Coogler as the director of
movies Fruitvale Station and Creed. But, did you know in 2009
Ryan and Zinzi worked on the short drama, Locks together?
She served as the film’s associate producer and he wrote and
directed the project. We can’t wait to see what new projects
they are going to embark on.

EVAN & ASHLEE SIMPSON ROSS
This beautiful couple recently welcomed a baby girl Jagger
Snow to the Ross dynasty. How amazing is it to have an icon
for a grandmother (Diana Ross) and two super talented aunts
like Tracee Ellis Ross and Jessica Simpson. We could only
hope that her parents would collaborate on a possible project
in the future.

RUSSELL WILSON & CIARA
How could you not love this couple? Two individuals who seem
to make love work despite their busy schedules and honoring
God in the process with a vow of celibacy until marriage.
Whether they are sailing on the coast or visiting sick children
in the hospital, their love inspires us to give it a try.
