-Suraj Patra oving forward in the life passing the golden period from a reputed school, time for taking admission in college and having dilemma whether to choose hostel or to stay in pg is the most probable question among freshers. But the student staying in hostel can only explain what life is? What is the importance of being in a hostel? The day you step into the hostel premises it teaches you what the way to live is. The first change in life is the parents, the position of parents is replaced the warden under whom you have to spent the successive hostel life. He or she is the person who teaches you how to find in an elder person, before leaving how to inform you're in charge and after parents there is somebody near you who cares for you. In 2005 a famous word has been banned by Supreme Court due to which most of the fresher's arrive by a delightful smile on their face the word is “RAGGING”. Although ragging is completely banned in India but then also there's a terror among freshers, whenever a senior pass by. But the most amazing thing is that the hostel allows you to make direct contact with a senior. Now what's so special about senior? Senior itself defines that a person who teaches you only good things, who can stop you when you are in wrong path. The person from whom life you can take inspiration. is filled by seniors. Who scold us during our negative work and pays bill when we are together? A hand which tells us we are always here for you and only you (Is that true? Of course not but in my case, it's true).That's why a word is always used in case of senior “sir/madam”. Beyond all these, there is an ultimate complaint among the hostelers (except few) about food. The thing that all hostelers hates is the food provided in the mess. Someone has well said “anything gains its importance only when it is lost” and I think whosoever has said that is may be a hosteler. When we are at home we don't feel the importance of the food cooked with affection by our sweet mom but ask hosteler how they miss it during their hostel period. Equality, individuality, dressing sense, overall development, and independent are tough in hostel. How to convert a small happiness into a big party is only taught in hostel. The unforgettable birthdays are celebrated only in hostel. Many of us may have heard that unity is strength, but is only explained in hostel. The adjustment among difference, dislikes, and modulation of anger is learnt in hostel. The person once stay in hostel can stay anywhere in the world because hostel teaches you everything you need to live. So, come and enjoy being a part of hostel because Zindagi Na Milegi
