IMPORTANT: NEW ONLINE SYSTEM FOR PESTICIDE LICENSE RENEWAL In August, MDAR mailed out 9,400 informational letters to pesticide applicators. This letter describes the Department’s new online examination and licensing system and the functions it performs. The new system is known as the Environmental Information and Public Access System or EIPAS. The informational letter was accompanied by a PIN or Link Letter that provided instructions on how applicators needed to create an online account on the Commonwealth’s ePLACE Portal and using the unique codes, provided in the PIN letters, link their existing pesticide examination and licensing records to their new ePLACE accounts.
