Junkanoo Summer Festival
Costumed dancers, drum beats, a street
festival, every Saturday during the month of
July and August. This festival sees groups of
Junkanoos parading through the streets in a
colourful parade which dates back to the days

JULY 20 -21
On Eleuthera and Harbour Island, enjoy two
days of fun fishing tournaments, delicious
food and drinks, live entertainment, games,
vendors selling locally made shell jewelry and
a fireworks display to end the event.
August 4 - 5
Lobster Fest & Lion Fish Derby
On The Berry Islands, this is a celebration of
the opening of the national Lobster Season
which includes a hunt for the invasive Lion
Fish. On day one, prizes will be awarded for
the largest lobster and most lion fish caught.
Enjoy a variety of lobster entrees, a lobster
culinary competition, music and games
