The BVI Olympic Committee (BVIOC), in its capacity as the BVI Commonwealth Games Association (BVICGA), will host the Relay in the British Virgin Islands when the Baton and traveling crew arrive from Anguilla on Saturday, July 1, 2017 until they depart for Jamaica on Wednesday, July 5. JULY 28 - AUGUST 9 British Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival Held at various locations throughout the BVI for the past 60 years, this festival celebrates the island’s freedom from slavery. A cultural extravaganza, there is a proud display of island culture and heritage with food, music, pagaents, street parties and folklore presentations. JULY 23 Xmas in July Party with the Puerto Rican boating community who have made this trek to the BVI an annual event this time of year.
