You recently graced the runway as part of Kanye West’s
cast for the release of his Yeezy Season 3 Collection. How
does it feel to have been a part this highly anticipated

I was calm, but yet very excited about the whole new experience. With the
Yeezy season 3 NYFW show being one of the most talked about fashion events
for NYFW 2016 spring season, I was honored to be one of the selected models
to be featured.

Is modeling and fashion a long-time interest or is this
recently awakened?

At a tender age of 12, I began to develop a passion for the fashion field. I
believe it was a feeling that was instilled in me, because I was always interested
in watching top model shows, researching top models and keeping up with
the fashion trends, as the years went by. To me, modeling is an art. It is as
important as any other profession in the creative field. To be successful I
knew I had put myself out there, to gain experience, so I participated in mini
fashion shows and pageants at home, then moved on to Caribbean fashion
Week and shortly after to New York, where I’ve participated in the official New
York Fashion Week, Made Fashion Week, Raw NYC (for indie designers) and
Fashion Week Brooklyn.

When were you “discovered”?

People have always asked me whether I was a model and they would always refer
me to persons in the Fashion arena, but I was really discovered at age 17, 2011
when I and another model, Joel Frederick, were chosen to represent Grenada
at the Caribbean Elite Model Look competition held in Trinidad and Tobago.
From then I was noticed by many for my photogenic appeal and professional
approach to modeling industry.
