Leading Women Intrapreneurs! Through
our theme of “Embracing the Future”
we hope to spotlight women courageous
enough to imagine a better life and then
make it happen. We honor their innovation,
drive and commitment as essential to the
continued growth of American business.
The Leading Women Entrepreneurs (LWE)
Program was developed for the purpose
of acknowledging female business leaders
who exhibit outstanding performance in
four areas: market potential, innovation,
community involvement and advocacy for
women. The honorees support numerous
non-profits, are employing thousands,
generating billions and represent a variety
of industries. The impact they have for our
state and local communities is amazing.
This year’s recipients are the epitome of role
models and mentors for aspiring women
entrepreneurs everywhere. The LWE
initiative is an opportunity to showcase
these dynamic women and their stories to
the next generation of business owners. We
hope that learning about these powerful
journeys is enough to inspire many others.
