Knowing that our main scripture for our annual brunch is Hebrews
13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever’; Kemi
says “If they needed miracles then, 2,000 years ago, why would
we not need it now with so much struggle and sin and demonic
activity going on?” She tells the reader to “Come and see great
deliverance, hear demons crying out at the name of Jesus and
where demons are fleeing at the name of Jesus Christ on a daily
basis. Jesus Christ is still alive! What he did through the apostles is
child’s play compared to what He will do through us today.” Kemi
reminds us that the same power is flowing through believers in our
day. She says He is the God of Miracles.
Kemi is a multifaceted jewel of a woman. As the author of “You Are
Anointed to Win” she suggests that the reader learn how to R.U.N.
She encourages the saints to have Resilience and the willingness to
fight until you see the victory that God has promised. Next we must
Understand God’s pathway to success for our life. Searcy says there
are many God given gifts as well as tailor made lanes to fulfill God’s
purpose for your individual life. Pastor Kemi admonishes us to use
the word No with authority. We must be able to say No to paths
and people who will take us off track and say YES to God when He
gives us direction.
Kemi says she learned that obedience is also the key to success
when one morning the Holy Spirit admonished her that “prevailing
self-will can never stand before Me.” She says we have to realize
that He is waiting for us to rise up, that He is calling us. Kemi declares
we are already equipped according to Joel 2:28-29 28 And it shall
come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men
shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also
upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour
out my spirit.
Sister Searcy leaves us with one thought for the New Year and that
is to ask God: How can I be your mouth piece in this end time?
