It is difficult to sum up the Palmyra project in a few lines.
Unique of its kind, in Mauritius at least, it revolutionises
the traditional conception of luxury co-ownership. Anand
Appanah, a man with a passion for innovation and creativity in whose vocabulary the word impossible does not
exist, worked for two years with Sanjay Puri, one of the
most talented Indian architects of his generation, to translate his avant-garde vision into reality. The Director of
Navos Property has been inspired by a particular concept,
all the convenience of a hotel in your own home.
This futuristic RES complex will be situated in Trianon,
Quatre Bornes, close to Mauritius’ business centres. Four
18-storey buildings will stand in a 12,000-square-metre
garden overlooking the River Seche and surrounded by
verdant countryside. The project consists of 240 prestigious apartments 16 of which are penthouses, and announces a totally new lifestyle. Anand Appanah is a perfectionist and has thought of everything when it comes
to comfort! First, there is the spaciousness of the rooms
and the high ceilings, without which, in his view, luxury
cannot exist. Then there are the fittings, with the floors
and bathroom and kitchen fixtures all of the best Italian,
German or French makes. The LED lighting, air-conditioning, and curtains are, of course, remote controlled.
Each 160-square-metre flat has two or three bedrooms
and its own terrace.The penthouses, with 350 to 450 square
metres of living space, are on three floors with a hammam
and a home cinema―the third floor a 150-square-metre
private garden. There is a private lift to each floor.
That very briefly describes the private areas, but perhaps
the best and most incredible aspect of this new development is the three common areas.
The first is the VIP lounge where residents can entertain
their guests. Each building will have its own lounge with
concierge service.
The second, the Riviera Club House, will include a squash
court, a fully-equipped 150-square-metre gym, board and
other indoor games, a hammam, a sauna, a meditation
room, a library and a multi-functional hall for receptions
or meetings of up to 200 people, complete with big screen.
Plus, of course, a near-Olympic-sized heated swimming
pool.
