known region: English Wine, famous
gardens, home of British Polo, and
the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex!

wine producing regions and is destined
to become the UK’s first wine tourism
style offerings. Historic Sussex Hotels
have been supporting local producers
and wineries since conception and have
more than 36 wines on the menu. All

launched an English Wine Weekend
at Ockenden Manor which gives
real ‘under the hood’ tour to meet
the wine producers directly. Guests
can learn what made HM The Queen
serve Ridgeview Wine Estate’s Blanc
de Blanc at Buckingham Palace and
discover the varying wines produced at
Bolney Wine Estate – just four miles
from the hotel. Bluebell Vineyard
Estate will give plenty of opportunity
for indulging in their specialty –
sparkling wine – while Albourne
Estate will take the opportunity to talk
through their Blanc de Blancs for the
occasion following with Wiston Estate
will be offering tastings of their vintage
and modern selections.
