The International Luxury Hotel Association ’ s European Luxury Hospitality Summit Travels to Croatia to Tackle Issues at the Intersection of Luxury , Hospitality , and Wellness Travel .
On March 1-2 , 2017 , the best luxury-focused hospitality conference returned to Europe for its 5th event .

The International Luxury Hotel Association held its European Summit in Rovinj , one of the most popular and most developed tourist areas in Croatia . Participants from Europe and other continents came together for two days of education , networking , and fun .
The conference was held at the 5-star , chic and contemporary Hotel Lone . It was part of 3-IN-1 integrated events including the Health Tourism Industry Conference , Taste The Mediterranean Festival , and our own ILHA ’ s European Luxury Hospitality Summit .
The conference was organized in partnership with the Croatian Chamber of Economy and under the auspice of Croatian President Mrs . Kolinda Grabar Kitarović , as well as the Ministry of Tourism . Official representatives from European Parliament and the European Travel Commission were also present at the event .
While there , attendees had a chance to learn from experts in the luxury hospitality industry – executive level hoteliers and CEOs covered a wide range of subjects ranging from new technologies , interior design , food trends , wellness hospitality , global hospitality statistics , and more .
The conference kicked off with a welcome address by Claudia Țapardel , Member of the European Parliament , Committee on Transport and Tourism . Followed by Leila Krešić Jurić , Director of the Tourism Department at the Croatian Chamber of Economy .
Afterward , our speakers took the stage , providing insight on how to maximize business and grow a hotel ’ s revenue , improve service and employee culture , and how to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in hospitality to ensure overall business success .
