Importantly we have a very strong focus on meticulous event planning and great project & budget management. It is not all about the design! We also have an incredibly dedicated, creative and professional team of vendors and partners we work with and match to our clients’ needs & personalities. Throw in a great sense of style, an inspired & highly creative team, fun, passion, integrity and discretion and I think all of this is a pretty unique mix to have a business that stands out. As a planner, what is the best advice you give to your brides. Not to embark on the planning journey on their own! Involve a professional and truly enjoy the months of planning with sound advice, creativity & event management knowledge at your fingertip, financial guidance, top suppliers at hand and just enjoying the process. AT THE END OF IT ALL, WHAT MAKES YOUR JOB AS A WEDDING PLANNER SATISFYING? I am a business woman more than a “wedding planner”. My personal satisfaction comes from running a successful company, mentoring a great team and dealing with a wonderful and culturally diverse clientele. Designing a celebration and seeing each one come together and perfectly executed is extremely rewarding. Grateful, happy clients (who tell us they’d like to do it all over again …) is what we thrive for every single time. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR TO PRODUCE A WEDDING IN SOUTH AFRICA? Summertime here in SA (between October – April) means sunshine, warm nights, unforgettable sunsets, stunning scenery across vineyards, mountains, the ocean or the vastness of the South African Bush. Amazing, scenic locations offer themselves for beautiful outdoor ceremonies followed by equally stunning receptions settings. For bush weddings or urban celebrations – any time of the year is perfect and we’ve designed the most beautiful winter weddings too.
