Fascinator &
Side-Swept Wave
Fascinators are a great spring racing accessory;
there are many different types and colours to choose
from, and can be worked with a range of hairstyles!
It is important, however with a fascinator that you
ensure your hair is visible and complementing the
accessory. The ?rst look that is easy to re-create is
the side-swept waves.
1. First prep your hair with a heat protectant &
comb through to evenly distribute the product
2. Then taking a larger barrelled hair curler, wrap a
10cm width piece of hair around, from about eye
level down, leave for 10-15 seconds and release.
This can be repeated all over the hair.
3. Once you’ve ?nished curling all of your hair & the
curls have cooled down, run a wide tooth comb
(or alternatively your hands!) through your hair to
separate the barrel curl into a wave.
4. Finish with a small spray of shine enhancing
hairspray.
5. Attach the fascinator, pull your hair around one
shoulder and you are ready to race!
