Magic Mineral Makeup We love loose mineral eyeshadows, not just because they are good for our skin and have gorgeous vibrant colours, we also love their versatility. Here are some of our favourite hints & tips when it comes to using loose mineral eyeshadows. Custom Colours Create your own unique, custom colours by taking a couple of loose mineral eyeshadows & mixing them together. Then use them in any of the ways below and have your own personal colour that no one else is wearing! Foiling Foiling loose powder eye shadow brings out the rich tones for a more dramatic effect as well as making your shadow last all day. Foiling, in makeup artist terms, simply means to blend a cosmetic mixing medium or water with the makeup powder for a paste consistency then apply with makeup applicator or brush to designated areas like you would a cream eyeshadow. Eyeliner Use the same method as foiling by mixing the shadow with a mixing medium (or water) and apply wet to the lash line with an eyeliner brush. Powder Blush To use as a blush, just pour a small amount out onto a dish, swirl your brush around in it and apply lightly to the cheeks. Cream Blush To create a liquid blush, mix in the eyeshadow with a tiny amount of moisturiser (just enough to create a paste). Apply to the apples of your cheek with your fingers & blend. Body Shimmer Mix in a small amount of pigment with a body lotion and lightly massage into your skin.
