September 13, 1998
I have just been assigned to work at a mysterious, highly classified facility known as Area
S4, in Nevada, not far from the infamous, but rather uninteresting, Area 51.
The reverse engineering of the saucers is done, and now the government wants a machine of their very own. A new version built to accommodate humans. I will be running the team
which will build this Machine.
March 27, 1999
Today my team and I finally finished the blueprints for our machine. We took on a new guy
last week who really helped to speed things up, and rejuvenate our drive and excitement. His
name is Griffin Kelly, a theoretical physicist and engineer. I have a feeling he will be an invaluable member of the team as we move into construction over the next few months.

I saw my first E.T. today, though only a shadowy glimpse through a window. K
