DUCKFIN SHAD
Designed and made in Japan these exclusive soft
lure patterns are of the upmost quality.
Their life-like swimming and tail action is
complimented by their incredible texture. Each lure
has been made with a specific level of softness and
flexibility to suit its performance and behaviour.
Their appeal is enhanced further with addition
of squid scent. This is a proven ‘taking trigger’ to
almost all fresh and salt water predatory fish, even
during low feeding conditions.
D’Fin, D’Tail and D’Swin feature central recesses
to accommodate hooks, assisting in perfect hook
and point presentation especially with offset worm
hooks on the D’Fin.
Salt grains have also been added for strategic
weight and improved swimming stability.
Each lure is guaranteed colour fast and can be
easily stored as mixed colours.

The D’Fin offers a minnow type body with circular ridges towards
the ‘classic wobbling tail’. This allows for maximum tail flex and
a highly agitated frequency of movement.
It generates strong flanking moves even without a jig head.
In tests this lure regularly tempted zander and perch. Due to
the special rubber formulation and the addition of salt, this
shad can even be fished without jighead and is ideal suited
for the use of off-set hooks - perfect for weedy areas.
The rubber formulation is colourless - different colours
can be stored together without bleeding into each other.
Available in 3” and 4”.
The D’Tail adopts a small shad shape and is perfect for creating a
diving, darting and rolling action especially offering glints
and flashes.
In cooperation with one of the leading bass anglers of Japan we
developed a range of catchy shads, which are 100% made in Japan.
The D’TAIL is available in 2 sizes - a small 7.5cm version,
which is determined for drop shot fishing and a 10cm version,
which is applicable for both jigheads and off-set hooks.
Available in 3” and 4”.
D’ Swim offers a bigger mouthful. At 5.5” it is ideal for bigger
predators and that bit more distance. Its distinct rounded ridge
enhances visibility and the intermediate joint ‘up’s the speed’ of
their tail action. The ribs create delicate waves that are similar to
those by vulnerable baitfish and attract predators.
The smaller options of 4.5” and 3.5” offer a mix of options
for zander and perch, allowing them to ‘suck in’ the lure.
With the distinctive Duck Fin tail, they create an attractive rolling
and swing in action and work well with a jig head as well as in
Carolina rigs
They feature highly defined features such as scale
patterns, 3D recessed eyes and fish-scent formula.
There is also a back slit for location of hooks.
Available in 11 colours and three sizes; 2.5”, 3.5” & 5.0”.
