Many think that New Jersey only has Atlantic
the State. Another part of what they do includes
researching the population. To better study the
City and the Jersey Shore; GTL (Gym, Tan and
Laundry), maybe that’s true for non-hunters and
club goers, but for outdoorsmen, New Jersey is
the most densely populated state in the nation.
There are confirmed bear sightings in all 21 of
New Jersey counties. Couple that with great
deer hunting and a very liberal bag limit,
plentiful turkey and small game, great fishing in
fresh and salt water making New Jersey a state
every outdoorsman should have on their list.
I was invited to do a show last year promoting
New Jersey Bear Hunting by the New Jersey
Division of Fish and Wildlife. Part of their
mission is to protect and manage the State’s
